Privacy Policy

HD 4K Wallpapers (hd4kwallpapers.com) is a free wallpaper search site operated by Sanden Solutions. You can browse, search and download wallpapers without an account. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- No account needed. If you create one, we keep only your first name and email. You sign in with a link we email you.
- We use Google Analytics to understand traffic and Google AdSense to show ads that keep the site free.
- Wallpapers come from Pixabay and Unsplash, so your browser loads images from their servers.
- If you ask for a 4K version of a wallpaper, we use your email once, to tell you it's ready.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Accounts (optional)
If you register, we collect your first name (optional) and email address. You sign in with a one-time link or code that we email you, so no password is needed. If you do use a password, it is stored only in hashed form. We keep the sign-in request (your email, when it was made and a scrambled form of your IP address) for a short time to stop abuse. Your account lets you save favorites across devices. Your favorites list is linked to your account.
4K requests
When you ask for a 4K version of a wallpaper, we record the request with a scrambled form of your IP address to limit abuse. If you leave your email, we store it with that request and send you one email when the 4K version is ready (or if it can't be made). We don't use it for anything else and don't add you to any mailing list.
Votes
When you upvote or downvote a wallpaper without signing in, we store your IP address and browser user agent with the vote so the same visitor cannot vote twice. If you later vote while signed in, that earlier vote moves to your account and the IP address is removed from it. Votes cast while signed in are linked to your account instead of your IP address.
Feedback
The Send Feedback form collects the type of feedback and your message. If you are not signed in you may also give your name and email so we can reply (both optional). If you are signed in, the feedback is linked to your account. We use your IP address briefly to limit how many messages can be sent per hour.
Searches and downloads
When you search, our server sends your search words to Pixabay and Unsplash to find matching wallpapers. We do not keep a search history tied to you. Downloads are fetched by our server from the image provider and passed to you.
Technical and log data
Like most websites, our servers automatically record basic request information: IP address, the page or search URL requested, browser user agent, referring page and time. We use these logs to keep the site running, troubleshoot errors and block abuse such as automated scraping.
Third-party services
We rely on a few outside services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
Google Analytics

Sits in front of the site for speed and security and serves our icon font. It processes request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
How we use information
We use the information above to run the site and your account, count votes fairly, read and reply to feedback, understand which wallpapers and searches people like, keep the site secure, and show ads that pay for it. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing email to account holders or to anyone who asks for a 4K wallpaper.
How long we keep it
Account details and favorites are kept until you ask us to delete your account. Emails left for a 4K request are kept with that request so we never email you about it twice. Votes and feedback are kept while the site runs, unless you ask us to remove them. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. Google keeps analytics and ad data according to its own retention settings.
Your choices and rights
You can browse without an account, choose "Necessary Only" in the cookie banner, block or delete cookies in your browser, and opt out of personalized ads through Google. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and we will honor those requests.
Children
HD 4K Wallpapers is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account or sent us their details, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
